How your feet connect to the Earth and how you stand daily affects your spine, breathing, posture, thinking, and emotions. When paying attention to this essential relationship between you and the ground, builds knowledge and awareness, increasing your stability and balance and may help to reduce chronic pain. Gravity plays a role in maintaining your attachment to the Earth. However, ground forces, equal in force and magnitude, allow you to establish an interdependence with the earth. Instead of efforting to avoid collapsing, forces spiral up frmo your feet through your bones and connetcive tissues, springing you upwards, effortlessly freeing your body to move.
