These twelve classes are ready to watch at any time!

For shamans, the Fire element is symbolic of purification and renewal. It is also a light that consumes darkness and anything that it touches. It is a force of passion that gives rise to creativity and new ideas. Fire is medicine that regenerates and gives life.

As we transition into a new cycle around the Sun, we will guide you to ignite your inner Fire while grounded and connected to Earth. In ceremony, you will review the past year, examine the lessons learned, burn pain and sorrow, and call forth a new light. Fire can melt the frozen heart and expand your ideas of who you are. Fire and Earth will ignite and support your life force within.

In these classes you will practice:

Energy passes to increase balance, coordination and flexibility
Tendon energy exercises to boost stamina and vitality
Breathing techniques to ignite the fire within
Grounding exercises to align to earth as you experience emotions
Acupressure points to increase energy flow at your joints
Exfoliation exercises to shed off the old skin, literally
Self-massage sequences to foster sensory perception
Guided visualizations to restore calm and concentration
Recapitulation exercises to take back your fire left in past interactions

In these twelve weekly classes, we will explore the fire element and its meaning in our lives. In the body, fire sits in the navel area where digestion and elimination take place. What are you assimilating? How are you nurturing yourself? And what do you need to let go of? or Are you fired up? The emotions related to the fire element are aggression, anger, rage as well as passion, enthusiasm, and love. Fire reminds us of the impermanence of things, including the physical body, and lets us call on the Phoenix to burn limiting self-imposed identities.

In each class, we will practice movements and breathing exercises to align the body and connect to the energy flow within. We will guide you to create within space for the fire to rise. We will sit and listen to it. We will practice letting go of the need to control–emotions, events, people–and join instead with the flow of life.

We will set intentions for the new year, continue working on your individual projects and realign with the elements of nature to renew your link to life.
