Quetzalcoatl - Healing Waters

Join this spirit-guided Six-day journey to the sacred land of the Maya to restore your being in the healing waters of Cenotes. Ts’ono’ot, from the maya ‘holes with water’, are naturally formed by collapsed limestone and they  reveal a vast underground river system. Cenotes are gateways to primodial time and space, and have been considered portals to the underworld, to heal and rebirth in ceremony. The journey includes visits to several cenotes, including the cenote at Chichen Itza, the ancient Mayan city. In Healing Waters we will travel for SIX days to the cognitive world of seers, visiting and interacting at sacred waters found in sites of power, caves, and cenotes. It is an invitation to also travel inwardly, to recognize the rhythms and waves within your nervous system, and synchronize them with the force of life itself, the source of consciousness.

For Seers, Water is the lifeblood that flows through lakes, rivers and oceans, connecting the world: Water nourishes, purifies, gives birth, and cleanses. It is the symbol of emotions and feelings and in warm water you regulate your nervous system and experiencing deep relaxation.

According to don Juan, the energy body—the organizing energy that is life itself—can be cultivated and enhanced by synchronizing the rhythms of your own body with the rhythms of water. By tuning your attention to these rhythms, we can revitalize internal organs, align the muscle-skeletal system, and reach deep states of silence and wellbeing.

Water is the giver of life. Water is sacred. Water is alive. It is through water that we can physically and spiritually interrelate and interconnect with all beings and to the whole of life.

K’uk’ulkan, also known as Quetzalcoatl, the feathered serpent, has been for these seers, the god of rain, wind, and creator of life. It symbolizes the journey of transforming from a snake to a birth and becoming more than the sum of both. The feathered serpent unifies darkness and light, female and male and inspires the journey of transformation and becoming.

Water is what cushions us inside the uterus and what sustains life on the planet.

 

Water embodies a process of transmutation, as water can change form from solid ice, to liquid, to gas.

Water can move around any obstacle in its path without losing its essential nature.

 

Water is the protector of the body: It regulates the body temperature, protects internal organs and tissues and carries nutrients and oxygen to cells.

 

Water signifies an evolutionary journey from ‘ego-based’ self to ‘love-based’ self and it is the medium for dreaming.

Six-Day Journey Program

We will meet you at the Cancun international airport in Mexico and drive you to all sites, completing the journey driving back to the Cancun international airport. Please let us know if you are planning on arriving before or staying after the retreat set dates.

Who is Guiding this Event?

The event is guided by the Spirit of Water found in sacred sites and in all of us, with the coordination of  Aerin Alexander, Tom Reavely and other BE Team members.
